What the Spirit of the Lord is Saying to the Church

Recently, I had a very enlightening and empowering interview with Apostle Billy Dorsey, Sr., who is the Senior Pastor & Founder of Bridge of Hope Worship Center and serves as Chief Apostle of Unity Fellowship International, as my special guest in Part 1 of a broadcast on "What the Spirit of the Lord is Saying to the Church in This Hour, & the Call to Prayer." I would like to share some notes of what was discussed during the interview with you, and I hope that it ministers to your heart.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.  (Revelation 2:7, NKJV)

Some of the things Apostle Dorsey shared about during our interview are the following:

-  The Spirit of God is calling upon His people to be "Real" in representation of Him.
-  To be "Accountable", and to hold ourselves accountable in regards to His calling.
-  To understand that sin always has consequences.
-  God does cause nations to enter into judgment as a result of sin and turning from Him.
-  There is a remnant of people, especially Prophets, who are awake, alert, and sensitive
to the move of the Spirit. Although, many professing Christians are acting like the world.
-  The "drumbeat" of God is louder than ever before calling His people to awaken and serve
Him fully in prayer and obedience.
-  After the Gulf War and 911 was over, and the fear factor wore off, everybody went
back to their normal habits, daily lives as usual, and forgot all about God and prayer.
-  God won't let us go back to what was again, because Jesus is coming back soon.
-  We need intercessors and prayer warriors who are as "Watchmen on the Wall" like
Jeremiah, Elijah, and Abraham who will cry out, spare not, and pray.
-  God is saying, "It's time for you to be "Real", and be who God called you to be.
-  Too many people are leaving God at the door, and are going out to live without Him,
while God called us to live according to Galatians 2:20. Speaking through the Apostle
Paul, we are called upon to be "crucified with Christ."
-  We must have an all day long relationship with God, and talk to Him everyday of the
-  Then we need to listen to God more than we talk in order to hear His still small voice.
-  Prayer is a conversation, and 2-way dialogue.
-  A very practical way to pray is during your commute.
-  Pray and cry out to God!!!
-  Be sensitive to what is happening in the world today.
-  Don't be insensitive as the people where in the days of Noah were.
-  God closed the door, and it was too late then.
-  You can ignore God long enough until time runs out.
-  So pray, for God to help you to bring your priorities and things that are out of balance
    into balance with Him.
-  Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness...  (Matthew 6:33)
-  Understand that when you ignore what the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the Church,
"It's like He never said it, and you'll be out of God's season."
-  The King's business demands haste!

He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.  (Revelation 2:11, NKJV)

I hope this brief outline has been a blessing to you.  Please share your thoughts with us.  God bless you!!

I totally agree with everything that is mention above, it is truly time that the church awake out of sleep and hear what the Spirit of God is saying to us. For there once was a time when he winked at our ignorance but now he's calling all men to repentance. He call us, his people to pray and intercede for the Nations. If God's people don't pray then who will?

Praise the Lord Nikki, I'm glad that you have gleaned from this month's blog topic, because we are at a very strategic and pivotable point in history. If God's people don't wake up and begin to demonstrate an awareness of the prophetic nature of the hour we're living in, the adversary will have the open opportunity to wreak havoc in our lives, churches, communities, nations and the world at large. Thank you so much for sharing your comments with us.

A powerful, concise & clear word for the world & hour we 're in. I'm reminded of the 5 wise & the 5 foolish virgins. 5 obliviously had an active & intimate relationship with the Father & Son thru the Word & Prayer as led by the Holy Spirit. And 5 were found without oil - no active or intimate relationship in or with the Godhead - and we're lacking any oil of the anointing & Light of Christ, hence they were locked out when the time came. Thank you & God bless for sharing this word.

Praise God JD, thank you for sharing your perspective on this month's community blog. The parable of the five wise and five foolish virgins is one that has stood on the forefront of my heart for a long time, and I've always endeavored to live by that rule in order to maintain readiness for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, many people don't believe or even think that this message is true. As a result, they live their lives void of Biblical principles and conviction. However, it is paramount that we all understand one very important thing, that God is not a man, and He is just as much a God of judgment as He is a God of grace. So, it behooves everyone to live like the Word of God is true, and He is going to render to everyman according to the deeds he does while in the body. The objective is to live a life that is pleasing to the Lord, and be ready watching for His appearing. God bless you.

I thoroughly enjoyed this message because it covered the essence of what is taking place in the spirit realm in this hour. The Spirit of the Lord is calling, we have to be in possition to hear. The direction we need from God will only to those with a open and clean heart ,and spirit, along with an attentive ear which is only born out of prayer and relationship with Him. As covered in this discussion, a true servant of God can't leave Him within the four walls of the church, but must walk with Him and connect to Him daily. God bless you for this wonderful word!

Toiya, thank you so much for sharing your comments on this month's blog conversation. Prayer is essential in this hour, and we must engage in a prayer conversation with our heavenly father throughout each day consistently. The world around us is ever changing, and we can see that Bible prophecy is being fulfilled before our very eyes on a daily basis. Therefore, we cannot afford to leave God within the 4 walls of the church religiously, but we must live the life of godliness everyday with deep conviction. God bless you!!

Pamela, your comments are right on target. We must pray! While there are many who are living as though the Bible is not true, it is still being fulfilled right in front of them. God is not a man that He should lie, nor the son of man that He should repent.(Numbers 23:19) God will keep His word and all of His commandments shall come to pass. You will see the nations in great peril, and gear grip the hearts of people everywhere due to the uncertainty ahead. Panic will become a commonality in the streets, and those great and small will be looking for solutions and answers for why things seem to have been turned upside down. But, God will laugh at their derision, because when He called they would not answer. Needless to say, it's time to pray and take God seriously!

We must know who God is and we must know who we are in Him. It is God who knows all things. By understanding this key factor we can be at peace in the midst of the storm.

Candice, we must continue to abide in the God who knows all things. For it is in Him that we live, move and have our being. It is in the Divine ark of safety and show of His wings that will be a refuge in the time of great shaking and trouble. Prayer and an intimate relationship with our Heavenly Father is the key to being guided by Him, safety and protection, peace and righteousness in this hour. Thank you so much for sharing your comments with us on this month's community blog, and God bless you!

We are in a very serious hour, it appears that trouble is coming from every side. We have wars, disease, invasions and natural disasters happening on multiple fronts this tells me one thing, it is time to pray. It is time to mean business with God, it is time for intercession. The church is a powerful organization we possess the capacity given us by God to change situations and circumstance, all we need do is petition the Father. God is looking for men and women who will stand in the gap and make up the hedge for the nation. In this writeup "What the Spirit of the Lord is saying to the Church" Apostle Bethtina makes a very profound statement that bears repeating "The King's business requires haste". Let's go forth in the power of prayer and defeat any plans of the enemy.

Praise the Lord Apostle Stanley, thank you for sharing your wisdom and insight on the blog with us. It is imperative that we make up the hedge and stand in the gap on behalf of the land that it be not destroyed. Many things are taking place simultaneously, and while there are people endeavoring to refute the validity of God's word, it is still coming to pass regardless to what they think or say. God is raising up am army of end-time prayer warriors and intercessors who will cry loud and spare not in fasting and prayer. Crying, Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven! Prayer and intercession is the key to revival, power and glory in this hour. God can save a nation in a day or He can destroy a nation in a day, just ask Nineveh, and Sodom and Gomorrah. God bless you!

The alarm is sounding through the Holy Spirit and God's end-time prophets. It time for the church to stand up and be the light God has called her to be. This is the hour for the true church to be revealed to a dying world. Revive must come swiftly to the church so that salvation may come to those who are lost. It start heart by heart, church by church, community by community, etc. We must first examine ourselves and compel them to come in to the light through the leading of the Holy Spirit, and the truth of God's world. Soul!!!

Elder Brewer, thank you so much for taking time to share your comments with us on this month's community blog. God is definitely sounding the alarm and speaking through His servants the prophets in this hour. We are living at a time when Biblical prophecy is being fulfilled rapidly. It is an hour when God's people must be able to hear what the Spirit of God is speaking without prejudice or partiality regarding the servants who God chooses to use, but to be receptive and obedient to what the Spirit is saying unto the Church. One of the things that God has been speaking clearly is for God's people to come into alignment spiritually, in fellowship, and obedience to His word. It is time to pursue, seek, and obey God as well as to repent of one's sins in order to maintain the relationship with God according to what He requires in this hour. God is going to reward those who are faithful and endure unto the end, but the rebellious and disobedient He will judge. God bless you!!

It is time to be real and pray with realness and honesty, it is time to worship for real not with noise as to be heard by others but with sincerity and pureness of heart. The Father seeks those who worship Him in spirit and in truth. It is time to trust in the Lord with all of our heart and to lean not in our own understanding, but in all our ways to acknowledge Him, and He shall direct our paths.

Gods clarion call to prayer, real prayer, is steadily intensifying. He wants us to be authentic in our service and commitment to him as an imitation anything may sparkle for a moment, but eventually the luster fades and the truth is revealed. As Christians, we will never lose our luster if we stay authentically connected to Him.
