The story of Pastor Billy Dorsey Jr. is such and inspiring story because it reminds us of the faithfulness of God. When you've fallen and it seems there is no way out and no way to get up God is faithful. It reminds me of a statement that Paul made in the Bible: Hebrews 10:23, "Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised)" As I listened to Pastor Dorsey's story I could see in his actions the unwavering faith that Paul talked about in Hebrews 10:23. We must all understand this one aspect of God unchanging character, God cannot tell lies. If God makes a promise to a individual a nation or a people He is always faithful. Isaiah 46:11, "Calling a ravenous bird from the east, the man that executeth my counsel from a far country: yea, I have spoken it, I will also bring it to pass; I have purposed it, I will also do it." Be inspired by this great testimony and remember God is faithful, no matter how low you think you have fallen God will never leave you nor forsake you.

WOW!!! This is so awesome! The testimony of Pastor Billy Dorsey, Jr. demonstrates that with God all things are possible. I love how Pastor Dorsey knew that a reward was going to come through the testing of his faith in God. He stood on the word of God. As a result, God is using him as a witness to share his experiences with others. This is what it’s all about. God wants to show Himself strong through the lives of people. He desires to show His glory and His power in our lives. I’m looking forward to hearing Pastor Dorsey share more details on his walk with God during the broadcast tonight! God bless!

Candice, thank you so much for sharing your heart on our community blog. You're correct in saying that it is the circumstances that we face that become a witness and testimony to others. Pastor Dorsey's story is a clear example of that. We all have a story and a testimony that would be an encouragement to others, but it requires for us to be transparent and humble in order for them to receive and be blessed by our witness.

Such a powerful testimony. God will surely turn trials to triumphs and He will get the glory. We just have to hold on through all that we go through and believe God and take Him at his word.
