Manifesting the Kingdom of God in the Earth

In order to manifest, exemplify and reflect the kingdom of God in the earth realm, we must first understand what the Kingdom of God is and how it operates. First of all, the kingdom of God is "a majestic realm, a great and powerful empire, a monarchy, and a royal dominion that demands absolute loyalty to the King. Every subject must be willing to give his or her life for the King."  Isaiah, the prophet, shared it so eloquently.
Isaiah 66:1 Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool.
The book of Psalms 115:16, depicts it so well also.
The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD'S: but the earth hath he given to the children of men.
Our heavenly Father has ordained in His Sovereign wisdom to allow man to govern and possess the earth, but with the condition that we will honor Him in the process.
Romans 12:1  I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.
Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
In light of God's magnificent plan for man's redemption from sin, death, and destruction, as well as all of the benefits it brings to us as Christians, we should respond appropriately. We should offer our lives and our bodies "all that we are" as living sacrifices to God everyday as a rational response to God's mercies towards us.  An old song that we sang in church throughout the years portrays how I believe we should respond to God.  It simply says, "When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He has done for me, my soul cries our hallelujah, I praise God for saving me!"  In appreciation for His sacrifice on our behalf, we should be willing to give Him our all every day.
As Christians we must see Jesus Christ beyond His role as our Savior and Redeemer alone, and understand that He is a King!  He is the Sovereign, most high God, whom we must submit to and obey.  Many people would balk at the idea of submission and obedience to God.  They prefer to live according to their fleshly passions, desires, and appetites without any accountability to a Sovereign God and King, but the privileges and benefits of being a citizen of the kingdom of heaven far out-weigh anything the world can offer.  Our God is holy and righteous.  He is awesome in all of His ways.  God has no desire to oppress, destroy or overwhelm His people with heavy burdens.  To the contrary, Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." (John 10:10b)  The amplified version of the Bible reads, "I am come that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).
God desires for mankind to be restored to His original intent as His personal representatives, vice-regents, emissaries, and ambassadors in the earth according to the book of Genesis 1:26-27.
Genesis 1:26 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
Genesis 1:28 And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.
You see, beloved, God wants to extend His reign, sovereign rule and kingdom into the earth through a man or woman just like you.  He created you for dominion, which is to have "mastery, rule, reign, and prevail" over your personal affairs, circumstances, and situations in life through the authority of His word. It is His desire for you to take dominion over sin, satan (the wicked one, the accuser of the brethren), and all that is evil.
Luke 10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
You have been given the authoritative right to take dominion, govern, rule, reign and enforce divine kingdom order by the word of God over all evil, inclusive of sin, evil spirits, and godless systems, atmospheres and environments as kingdom ambassadors. (Ephesians 2:4-6)
God created you in His "image" and after His "likeness", to be a creative thinking being; one who has the capacity to make decisions, judgments, establish and legislate policies, overcome obstacles, affect systems, and re-establish His rule in the earth through your relationship with Him.
2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors [representatives] for Christ,   as though  God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.
You are a powerful being who has been given the distinct honor and privilege of representing Jesus Christ as an emissary and ambassador of His kingdom.  When you truly understand the magnitude of God's purpose and love for you, and comprehend the price He paid through the shed blood of Jesus Christ on Calvary to deliver you from the grip of the wicked one, death, hell, and the grave, it will become a pleasure to dedicate your life to Christ and represent His image and character in this world.
We are living in a godless age and society, which requires for us to reflect the character and image of God throughout every system - educationally, politically/governmentally, economically, scientifically, technologically, in entertainment, family, and the church.  It takes nothing less than the power and authority of God to influence, impact and affect meaningful change in the world today.
We must own up to our responsibility to reflect His image and character by allowing the "fruit of the spirit", as illustrated in Galatians 5:22-23, "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance"  to flow through our lives towards others.  When we possess  strong core values and convictions that are based upon the standards of God's word, which includes having integrity, discipline, trustworthiness, faithfulness, dependability, honesty, wisdom, and a victorious attitude that we begin to affect and influence the lives of others in a beneficial and lasting way.
The purpose of God is to extend His kingdom reach and influence into the earth through His people as vice-regents, emmissaries and ambassadors. We can affect positive change in every sphere of influence, environment, and system as we exemplify His character, standards, and values in our business affairs, on our jobs, in our homes, churches and communities.
It's time to manifest the kingom of God today!
Romans 8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sonsofGod.

And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who finds his life will lose it, and he who loses his life for my sake will find it. Matthew 10:38-39. God has called us to be true servants. We exist for God's plans and purposes. To manifest the Kingdom of God is to Serve and Touch the lives of others building right relationships as we minister God's awesome word. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

Sharon, thank you for sharing your comments with us on this week's blog. Our lives are meant to be devoted to serving the King of kings and Lord of lords. I believe that true fulfillment is found in doing so. When we are serving God by serving others it is a reflection of Christ Himself, and the example that He set during His ministry on earth. A good question to ask from everyone is, "Who are you serving? Are you doing it with all of your heart as unto the Lord?" When we commit to serving the Kingdom of God fully we become more like Christ everyday. We'll see as He sees and share His heart concerning the need for the salvation of humanity. God bless you Sharon. I look forward to seeing you on the blog again soon.

I love Psalms 115:16, for David said God has give the earth to the children of men. That is so powerful! I believe that is time for the Sons of God to arise and take back from the devil what is rightfully ours. Adam may have lost his kingship over the earth but we can get it back through the second Adam, and that is Jesus Christ our Lord. Jesus is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. We are kings in the earth, under the rulership of the King of kings. He has given us access to the Father, power to tread on devils, authority, his Holy Spirit living on the inside of us, and so much more. As Dr. Stanley Williams says, its time that we act like we know what we are doing! Thanks Dr. Bethtina Williams. Love ya!

Nikki, your comments are clear, precise and on the nose. We are a "kingdom of priest" according to Exodus 19:6, and the book of Revelation 1:6, tells us that "He has made us kings and priests unto our God." Therefore, our calling and primary responsibility is to our heavenly Father. We must understand what the King requires of us as His subjects, and respond accordingly. 2Peter 1:3 says, "According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him that hath called us to glory and virtue." This simply means that God has provided everything we need spiritually (in power and authority by the indwelling of Holy Spirit), and through the knowledge(awareness, insight, understanding and comprehension) of all that Christ has appropriated for us on earth so that we can reflect His glorious image and character in the earth with honor, dignity, wealth (resources), and moral excellence before the world for the purpose of reconciling men's hearts back to God. Nikki, again thank you for sharing your comments with us on this week's blog. Kingdom blessings.

One of the most powerful passages on the kingdom of God is found in Luke 22:28-30 Luke 22:28-30, "Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations. And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me; That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel." Jesus told the disciples that because they had continued with Him in His temptation that He had appointed unto them a kingdom. He further went on to state that the kingdom being appointed to them was appointed just as His Father had appointed a kingdom to Him. With these appointments the disciples would sit on thrones. In other words they would be kings, and kings sit on thrones just as Jesus Christ is the King of kings and Lord of lords.

I just wanted to take a moment to thank for what you are doing in allowing God to use you in this way. I dont know about others but the word of God becomes so much clearer when shared in this expository fashion. I am most grateful to be reminded of who I am in Christ. It is refreshing as we live from day to day in a world filled with adversity and dissapointments to know that "greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world"1Jn.4:4b.Blessings in the matchless name of Jesus Christ.

Thank you Dr. Beth for allowing God to express His word through you regarding The Kingdom with such clarity. As we fully come into the knowledge of/understand who we are in Christ Jesus and the power, rights, privileges and authority that we have because of His death, burial, and resurrection and because He is now seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for us- I believe we will more freely, deliberately and victoriously maximize our potential, carry out every assignment given to us, fulfill our visions and as a result- cause the kingdom to manifest on earth. As a result of knowing who we are in Christ Jesus, we will fully express the kingdom in the earth and the manifestation of the kingdom will come through us because- Thru Christ Jesus we have the power to bind up, to proclaim liberty, to comfort, to appoint, to heal, to deliver, and to set free (Is. 61:1-3), The right to ask and it shall be given unto us- making confessions and declarations everyday and having expectation that they will surely come to pass)and, The privilege of being joint heirs with Christ Jesus (Rom. 8:17), being made partakers of Christ(Heb. 3:13)and being made righteous because of His righteousness. Because faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen- we are not moved/shaken because of circumstances and situations that surround us every day. Because we live and walk by faith- His kingdom shall come and His will- will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Be steadfast and immovable always (1Corin. 15:58). We believe that the kingdom is being manifested on earth because we are not only hearers, but also doers (obedient) of the Word of God (Jam 1:22). Let us exhort one another daily(Heb. 3:13)and "Manifest the Kingdom right here on earth!"

Vickie, thank you for sharing your insightful comments with us on this week's blog. I am glad to know that you have a strong grasp and understanding of the kingdom of God and how it works. I believe that our alignment with God through His word puts us in the right context to manifest His power and reflect His glory in the earth. Serving the King must be a conviction for us and never a preference. It cannot be based on how we feel in our natural senses or on circumstances that oppose our faith, but rather upon what we know His word says to us. When we serve God and obey His word inspite of our circumstances, then we can truly identify with the sufferings of Jesus Christ our King, and reign with Him in triumph and great victory over sin and evil forces. Again, thank you sharing with us, and be encouraged to press into the kingdom for such a time as this. You are making a difference in your generation for the Kingdom of our God!

Just Thinking The Gospel(Good New) of the Kingdom shall be preached(proclaimed) in all the world for a witness unto all nations and then the end shall come. If the end has not come yet. It is because the Kingdom of God has not reached all the inhabitance of the earth. There is much work to be done. The question I would ask is "Then, What is the Good News of the Kingdom"? There is a King and He is coming back for His people. Next question is, "When is He coming back?" When all the nations are witnessing Kingdom Activity in the earth. What is this Kingdom Activity? All power and authority has been given you & I to re-present the King's Activity before He comes back. What is the King's Activity? Making Disciples and Baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, & Holy Spirit. Many people will not see the Making of disciples and the Baptizing them, but all can see the fruit of these activities. What is the fruit? The Love we have one for another and supernatural signs & wonders that follow. The Kingdom of God is manifested by the love we have one for another and supernatural signs & wonders (Gifts of the Holy Spirit) that follow. Satan opposes and fight us in the discipling process because he does not want to see the Kingdom of God is manifested. The manifestation of the Kingdom of God exposes Satan's kingdom. It brings Satan's kingdom out into the open for the everyone to see. We are equipped with the necessary weapons to bring Satan's kingdom out into the open. Disciples have the weapons needed to bring Satan's kingdom out into the open. If Satan's kingdom is brought out into the open, then he has no defense and he has to flee.

Allen, the questions that you posed regarding the kingdom of God are tremendous, and really highlight the subject in a wonderful manner, which causes us to evaluate every aspect about out purpose and role in sharing the Gospel of the kingdom "in all the world" according to Matthew 24:14, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." I believe that God is waiting on us much more than we are waiting on Him to answer our prayers and do "what we want". I believe our primary focus should be on serving the King of kings, and let everything that we do in the earth realm be done with the purpose of expanding the reach of God's kingdom into every system and sphere of influence through out the world. Once the Gospel of the kingdom is manifested and demonstrated through Christians into every system - governmentally/politically, educationally, technologically, in entertainment, families, and churches, etc., as a witness of Christ the Anointed One, then the end will come. So, we do have our work cut out for us, but it should be done with great honor and appreciation in light of the saving mercy and grace our Father God has bestowed upon us. Allen, thank you so much for sharing your heart with us on the blog. I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

When we truly understand Gods purpose for us we can't help but get excited and want to spread that knowledge and understanding to a lost world. We are not our own and have been bought with a price. The benefits of belonging to God outweighs anything the world can give. It takes some longer than others to realize that but those of us who do know our purpose must let that light shine before men that they may see the glorious works of God. as we present our body soul and spirit to God we become willing vessels for his service. Consistent communication with God and study of his word will begin to manifest in our lives in such a way that we will radiate on the outside because of what is on the inside of us.

When it comes to serving in or under a government one must understand what the nature and operation of the government involved is. In our case the government that we serve under is the Kingdom of Heaven. This government is not a Democracy, an oligarchy, nor is it communism, it is a monarchy. Serving the King is not like serving a president because a president can be checked, whereas a king has absolute power and authority. God rules in heaven without and equal, He does whatever He desires and no one can stop Him. Daniel 4:35, "And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?" Job 9:12, "Behold, he taketh away, who can hinder him? who will say unto him, What doest thou?" Job 34:29, "When he giveth quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hideth his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:" Psalms 115:3, "But our God is in the heavens: he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased." These are just a few of many passages that speak of the authority of our King. When we serve Him we must understand that he demands complete surrender to His will. He is a sovereign who is perfect in His judgments and who never makes miscalculations. If He were a president we could challenge Him but since He is God we can only serve Him. He has one desire for the earth, and that is for His original intent for the creation of the mankind to come to past. His original intent was to have someone in His likeness and in His image. He sent His Son to die so that His desire for man could actually be possible. When we follow Jesus and meditate daily in His word we take on the image of God and manifest His will in the earth.

Dr. Stanley, thank you for sharing your incredible insight and wisdom concerning the kingdom of God with us. One thing that immediately comes to mind for me is the consistency that is involved in serving a King, because God cannot be voted out of office, nor does His word, edicts, or decrees ever change, we can confidently trust that His Sovereign judgments and promises are sure. He is always consistent and faithful over His word to perform it in our lives. The fact that He lives in heaven, and His throne is everlasting, provides us as believers with the privilege of receiving the delegated right to establish the jurisdictional power and authority of His word on earth. When we accomplish this mission, then God's original intent has been served and His name is exalted in this world, which is to restore mankind back to their place of power and authority, to rule and reign manifesting Christ' image in the earth realm.

Candice Mimms on Saturday, July 23, 2011 12:08 AM
The rule of God is amazing! When I think of a king, I instantly think of a sovereign or a person in some type of power. Throughout the world, we can find kings or leaders that may abuse their authority. On the other hand there are times when we may see kings that are the total opposite in which they are caring and loving of others, thinking of the needs of others before their own personal needs or desires. This is my view of God. When it comes to God, even though He has ALL POWER, He’s still concerned about us. I love how He is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent! With Him being all-knowing, all-powerful, and being everywhere at all times, He has the ability to ensure His people have what they need. He has the power to handle every situation and circumstance. After reading this week’s blog I was reminded of how much power we have through Christ. He’s waiting for us to understand that it is within Him that we should be living, moving, and existing. This is where power comes from! By depending on Him, we are allowing Him to rule over our lives. By doing this, it should result in a total victory within the many areas of our lives. Thank you Pastor Beth for speaking to our hearts and minds, ensuring God’s word is being presented in order for us to represent the kingdom of God!

Candice, Thank you once again for sharing your comments with us on this week's blog. I too am so glad the our God and King is one in whom we can trust and rely on, knowing that through His awesome power - omnipresence, omnipotence, and omniscience, He not only cares about us, but He absolutely loves us. Our God is love indeed, and only desires what is best for His people. He promised us that if we seek first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness all these things (what ever we need) would be added to us. What an honor it is to serve a King like ours, and there is no other God beside Him.

King Solomon wrote from the experience and insight of both the natural and Supernatural perspectives. No one would dare say what are doing and stay in good health (Eccl 8:4).. God's Word - The Living Word and written word -indwelling coupled with His Spirit manifests God's divine will and Kingdom Mandates & dictates in the earth (1 Cor 2:4/5). The earth He gave to be ruled by man through His Son/Word and Spirit in intimate relationship with the Father having ultimate overight thru this living and growing rrelationship with His people. Seeing Ourselves literally seated to Jesus' right hand in Heavenly places, power and authority. This reveals to creation who the sons of God are and Displays the glory, power, majesty and dominion of the Kingdom of Heaven. For Jesus has given each of us a kingdom even as His Father gave Him one (Luke 22:29)so as we allow His Word to dwell in us as we speak and prayer His Word -the Word of a King - then Power, Effective Miracle workig Power is released to heal, save, deliver, raise the dead and cast out demons. This what Jesus said indicated the Kingdom of heaven is at hand (Matt 10:1,5-15)the mandate remains the same as was demonstrated by the apostles and even deacons in Acts.

Some have been targeted to the interests of photographers, and some have been general items that everyone might love - everything from jewelry to personalized art to handbags and more!. .But imagine the dismay you'd feel, after those many hours, to see that your oven isn't working? He's exposed his songwriting to bigger, fuller arrangements so we're imagining the live set will respond accordingly. .
